Nestled between the Andes and the Amazon rainforest, the Nomatsigenga people live in remote villages with limited access to medical care—and even less access to the gospel. Next summer, you can step into that gap.

Medical & Dental Care: Provide outpatient diagnosis, treatments, medications, basic dental procedures, extractions, and oral health education.
Vision & Pharmacy Support: Assist with reading glass distribution, basic vision support, and organizing/dispensing medications under medical supervision.
Community Health Education: Teach practical, preventative health lessons on hygiene, nutrition, disease prevention, and family wellness.
Evangelism, Prayer & Support: Pray with patients, share Gospel testimonies, and support clinic flow through registration, translation, crowd control, and children’s activities.

The Leaders: Partnering with Pablo and Belen Soto and the team at Mission Base Antioquia, who maintain long-term relationships with local Indigenous communities.
The Strategy: Using medical clinics as a doorway for evangelism, Discovery Bible Studies, and Community Health Evangelism.
The Long-Term Vision: Equipping local believers to plant multiplying, Gospel-centered churches that thrive long after the team departs.

Culture & Heritage: An Indigenous Amazonian community (pop. 5,000–10,000) living along the Tambo, Ene, and Pangoa rivers with deep traditions in oral storytelling, medicinal plants, and subsistence farming.
Language: Primarily speak Nomatsiguenga (an Arawakan language), with many also speaking Spanish.
Spiritual Environment: Animistic beliefs and syncretism are common; ministry focuses on long-term, biblically grounded discipleship that respects local culture.
Critical Need: Remote villages face severe isolation, lacking basic healthcare, theological education, and trained church leadership.

The team will stay at Mission Base Antioquia in dormitory-style bunkhouses. Accommodations include bunk beds, shared bathrooms, clean water, and shower facilities. Men and women will stay in separate sleeping areas.
The base provides a safe and welcoming environment, but accommodations are simple. Team members should come prepared for shared living spaces, limited privacy, changing weather conditions, insects, and the realities of serving in a remote area.

The team will fly into Lima and spend the night there before traveling by overnight bus toward Chuquibambilla. The bus has comfortable reclining or lay-down seats that allow passengers to rest during the journey.
The route crosses high elevations in the Andes Mountains before descending toward the mission base. Team members should discuss any history of altitude sickness, motion sickness, or other travel-related medical concerns with the team leader before departure.
Each day, the team will travel to remote villages in four-wheel-drive vehicles. These vehicles allow us to transport people, medical supplies, and equipment over rough and sometimes unpredictable roads.

The Cuisine: Meals are prepared in the dining hall at Mission Base Antioquia, featuring a nourishing mix of local Peruvian dishes and familiar comfort foods.
Dietary Needs: Food allergies and special dietary restrictions can be accommodated when communicated to the team leader well in advance.
Water Safety: Safe, clean drinking water is provided at the base for team health throughout the trip.

At Go InterNational, participant safety is our top priority. Our internal team and external consultants use a multi-layered risk management approach, including monitoring global reports and collaborating with ministry partners on the ground. We enforce safety protocols, such as requiring students to be with an adult, while our hosts provide location-specific guidelines. Our team leaders have been trained in risk management principles and have both on-field and home-office support to ensure a secure experience.

$250 Trip Deposit – A $250 fee is required to reserve your spot, which goes toward the overall cost of the trip.
Payment Schedule:
1/3 of the trip cost is due 3 months before departure
2/3 of the trip cost is due 2 months before departure
Final payment is due 1 month before departure
Our team will provide support and guidance throughout the fundraising and preparation process.
What’s included?
Reaching the unreached often means going where there are no paved roads, hotels, or easy systems. Your trip cost is an all-inclusive investment in the mission. It covers everything from your travel insurance and housing to the project materials (like Bibles, medicine, etc.) and the local experts (translators, doctors, construction foremen, etc.) who make our work possible. We don’t just visit; we show up fully prepared to meet the needs of the community.

Larry is a seasoned mission leader with extensive experience in guiding teams on the field and passionate about discipleship.
Matt is a medical mission leader with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry and a heart for missions and discipleship.
Matt and Larry will accompany your group throughout the trip, facilitating ministry activities, coordinating logistics, and providing spiritual encouragement.
They will be available for:
