This trip is more than an opportunity to visit Peru. It is an invitation for your family to grow closer, serve together, and develop a heart for God’s mission in the world.

Children’s Ministry: Lead Bible stories, games, crafts, songs, and sports alongside your children to build relationships with local youth.
Small Medical Clinics: Assist medical professionals and volunteers with basic health care while offering prayer and sharing the Gospel with patients.
Evangelism & Outreach: Participate in prayer walking, personal conversations, sharing testimonies, and supporting local church events.
Practical & Church Service: Help organize school supplies, prepare ministry materials, and participate in local church worship through prayer, music, or preaching.
Side-by-Side Family Focus: Designed for parents, grandparents, and children to serve together in age-appropriate ways, building cross-cultural relationships and lasting family memories.

The Leader: Wilma Grandez, who has faithfully served children and families in Carabayllo for over 20 years.
Larry Cochran Christian School: Founded by Wilma to give vulnerable children a quality education, a daily hot meal, a safe environment, and discipleship in Christ.
Sustainable Ministry: Teams work directly alongside Wilma’s local leaders rather than running separate programs, ensuring support for work that continues year-round.

The Community: Serve in Carabayllo, a rapidly growing community on the northern outskirts of Lima where families from across Peru settle in search of better opportunities.
Local Challenges: Widespread poverty, limited access to education, abuse, neglect, and abandonment create ongoing struggles for local youth and families.

The team will stay at Hacienda Lima Norte, located approximately 30 minutes from Lima’s airport and about 30 minutes from the Larry Cochran Christian School.
Rooms include basic amenities such as towels, sheets, pillows, a small refrigerator, soap, and shampoo. Hot water and air conditioning are typically available. The property also includes a pool and outdoor areas where families can relax and spend time together.
Because the hotel may have other guests and activities taking place, families with younger children may want to bring earplugs, a white-noise machine, or other familiar bedtime items. Parents will be responsible for supervising their children at the hotel and throughout the trip.

All transportation during the trip will be arranged in advance. The team will fly into Lima and travel together by bus to Hacienda Lima Norte. Transportation will be provided each day between the hotel and the ministry locations.
Families traveling with younger children should discuss car-seat or travel-seat needs with the team leader before departure. Specific recommendations will be reviewed during the pre-trip meetings.

Daily Meals: Enjoy daily breakfasts at the hotel, authentic Peruvian lunches prepared by Wilma’s local ministry team, and dinner options at the hotel restaurant.
Dietary Needs: Food allergies and restrictions can be accommodated if communicated to the team leader well before departure.
Water Safety: Clean drinking water will be provided throughout the trip—NEVER drink tap water in Peru.

At GO InterNational, safety is our top priority. Our staff monitors conditions in the region and works closely with trusted ministry partners to provide a safe experience for every participant.
Because this trip includes children, the following family safety expectations will be followed:
Children must remain with a parent, guardian, or designated adult.
Parents are responsible for supervising their children throughout the trip.
Children will participate only in ministry activities appropriate for their age and abilities.
Team members must follow all transportation, lodging, ministry, and cultural guidelines.
Background checks will be required for adult participants.
Our goal is to create an experience where families can serve meaningfully while knowing that careful planning, appropriate supervision, and risk-management practices are in place.

$250 Trip Deposit – A $250 fee is required to reserve your spot, which goes toward the overall cost of the trip.
Payment Schedule:
1/3 of the trip cost is due 3 months before departure
2/3 of the trip cost is due 2 months before departure
Final payment is due 1 month before departure
Our team will provide support and guidance throughout the fundraising and preparation process.
Special Family Discount:
Once the team reaches 10 full-paying participants, a discounted trip cost will be offered for children under 12.
The reduced child rate will be announced after the minimum number of full-paying participants has been reached. Airfare and certain individual expenses may not be included in the child discount.
This discount is intended to make it easier for parents to give their children the opportunity to experience international missions and serve together as a family.
What’s included?
Reaching the unreached often means going where there are no paved roads, hotels, or easy systems. Your trip cost is an all-inclusive investment in the mission. It covers everything from your travel insurance and housing to the project materials (like Bibles, medicine, etc.) and the local experts (translators, doctors, construction foremen, etc.) who make our work possible. We don’t just visit; we show up fully prepared to meet the needs of the community.

Your team will be led by Larry Montgomery, an experienced mission leader who has led more than 60 mission trips and preached the Gospel across five continents.
Larry is passionate about helping people experience missions firsthand and equipping them to share the love of Christ. He is especially excited about this opportunity for parents and children to serve together and develop a greater heart for God’s work around the world.
Larry will accompany the team throughout the trip, coordinating ministry activities, managing logistics, and providing spiritual leadership. He will provide:
