Join us in Tbilisi, Georgia, to serve alongside local Kurdish believers as they share the Gospel, reach vulnerable families, and build lasting ministry in their community.

Vacation Bible School & Youth Ministry: Help run VBS camps, games, crafts, and Bible lessons for local children and youth at the ministry center.
Home Visits & Relational Outreach: Visit Kurdish families in their homes alongside local believers to offer prayer, build friendships, and share the Gospel.
Street & Community Evangelism: Participate in personal evangelism and community outreach in surrounding neighborhoods.
Encouraging the Local Church: Walk alongside and encourage Rezo and the local church leaders through prayer, fellowship, and shared ministry.

We partner directly with Rezo Faroyan, a local Kurdish ministry leader whose heart is dedicated to bringing the love of Christ to his own people. Rezo works year-round to build trust with displaced Kurdish families through youth mentorship, practical service, and relational outreach. His personal ministry and long-term presence in Tbilisi serve as the vital foundation for our mission trips, ensuring every team's efforts directly support ongoing discipleship and local church planting.

Location and Landscape: Tbilisi is Georgia’s historic capital, set along the Kura River and surrounded by rolling hills and mountains. Situated at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, this vibrant city is home to diverse cultures and minority communities, including displaced Kurdish families.
Spiritual Environment: While Georgian culture is historically shaped by the Orthodox Church, many people have little personal engagement with the Gospel. Kurdish believers represent a small minority living in a distinct community, and they need encouragement, discipleship, and support as they share Christ with their people.
Daily Challenges: Many Kurdish families navigate poverty, limited economic opportunities, and social isolation. Children are especially vulnerable, but relational ministry—through camps, tutoring, home visits, and mentorship—is earning the trust of parents and transforming entire homes.
Our Mission: We serve to strengthen the work already underway. By assisting with VBS, family outreach, and personal evangelism, our team will help bolster local believers and foster lasting relationships centered on the hope of Christ.

Our team will stay at a YWAM base in Agaraki, located just north of the Tbilisi city center. Accommodations include multiple bunk rooms for team members and private rooms for married couples. While there is no air conditioning, every room is equipped with a fan. Bed sheets and pillows are provided by the facility, but team members must bring their own bath towels.

Participants will fly directly into Tbilisi International Airport, where our local ministry partners will meet the team. All flight coordination, in-country travel, and daily transportation will be managed by your GO Trip Leader in partnership with our host organization.

Get ready to eat like a Georgian! You will enjoy traditional regional specialties like Khachapuri (warm cheese-filled bread) and Khinkali (savory dumplings), alongside a wide variety of flavorful dishes from across the Caucasus region.
Dietary accommodations and food allergies are managed carefully by our team and hosts.

At GO InterNational, participant safety is our top priority. Our internal team and external consultants use a multi-layered risk management approach, including monitoring global reports and collaborating with ministry partners on the ground. We enforce safety protocols, such as requiring students to be with an adult, while our hosts provide location-specific guidelines. Our team leaders have been trained in risk management principles and have both on-field and home-office support to ensure a secure experience.

$250 Trip Deposit – A $250 fee is required to reserve your spot, which goes toward the overall cost of the trip.
Payment Schedule:
1/3 of the trip cost is due 3 months before departure
2/3 of the trip cost is due 2 months before departure
Final payment is due 1 month before departure
Our team will provide support and guidance throughout the fundraising and preparation process.
What’s included?
Reaching the unreached often means going where there are no paved roads, hotels, or easy systems. Your trip cost is an all-inclusive investment in the mission. It covers everything from your travel insurance and housing to the project materials (like Bibles, medicine, etc.) and the local experts (translators, doctors, construction foremen, etc.) who make our work possible. We don’t just visit; we show up fully prepared to meet the needs of the community.

Your team will be led by Curtis Elliott and Brian Hibbs. Curtis has many years of experience as a missionary in Tbilisi with the Kurdish people and has led multiple teams with GO. Brian is a member of Ninevah Christian Church and has been on and led multiple mission teams.
Curtis and Brian will accompany the team throughout the trip, coordinating ministry activities, managing logistics, and providing spiritual leadership. He will provide:
