About Michelle

Michelle Gash has served on staff with GO InterNational since 2019, but her connection to the ministry began in 1999 when, at age 12, she joined a mission team to Venezuela. That life-changing trip sparked a love for missions, and about a year later, she sensed God calling her to serve.

As the GO EquipHer & Missions Mobilizer and Coordinator, Michelle helps people take their next steps in serving God through missions. She recruits, prepares, and leads mission teams, coordinates internships, and develops training and resources through GO EquipHer. As EquipHer’s lead trainer, she equips women to live whole, walk free, and multiply discipleship in their homes, churches, and communities.

Michelle holds a master’s degree in social work and spent six years serving children and families in the foster care system. She brings that experience, along with her love for people and discipleship, into her work with international partners, mission participants, and local churches. Her heart is to see the whole church participating in the Great Commission, with people of every age, background, and experience discovering how God can use them.

Michelle and her husband, Eric, have been married since 2012 and live in Lexington, Kentucky, with their daughter, Elyana, and their dogs, Lucy and Anna. She enjoys CrossFit, kayaking, and traveling, especially the opportunities to build friendships, learn about other cultures, and try new foods!

Please pray for Michelle as she mobilizes and leads mission teams, supports interns, and equips women through GO EquipHer. Pray that those she serves will grow in faith and confidence as they share the hope of Jesus with others.
