Trip #291
Cost: TBD
Cost will be finalized 9 months before departure date.
Walk where Yeshua walked and serve the 'Living Stones' of modern Israel. This mission combines a deep dive into biblical history with hands-on ministry—from exploring ancient sites to joining the movement of local believers sharing the Gospel today. Come experience the Holy Land through both its historic roots and its spiritual future.
-
Walking the "Fifth Gospel"
Visiting biblical sites like Capernaum, Magdala, and Jerusalem is more than a tour—it is a chance to see the Land through your own eyes and gain a deeper understanding of biblical history and geography. As you walk where Yeshua (Jesus) walked, you will hear from guides about the historical significance of each site while team leaders provide spiritual insights to challenge your faith.
The Urgent Need for Evangelism
Israel is a strategic mission field. While it is the birthplace of our faith, it is currently considered unreached, with only approximately 1.73% of the nation identifying as followers of Yeshua.
The Unreached: Nearly 50 people groups in Israel are considered unreached, meaning roughly 97% of the population is in need of a Savior.
The Biblical Mandate: We believe the Gospel is "for the Jewish people first" (Romans 1:16). God has an ongoing covenant with Israel, and He calls the church to pray and labor for their salvation.
-
We don't just visit the land of the Bible; we serve the people who call it home today. Throughout our mission, we will partner with and learn from four unique ministries:
Dugit Outreach Ministries (Tel Aviv)
In Hebrew, "Dugit" means "small fishing boat." For over 30 years, this Messianic outreach center in the heart of Tel Aviv has been a lighthouse for the Gospel. Led by Jewish believers who understand their restoration to the land, Dugit focuses on fostering relationships through their coffee shop, outreach events, and prayer. We will serve alongside them as they act as "fishers of men" in Israel's most secular city.
Kehilat HaCarmel (Mount Carmel)
We will join this vibrant "One New Man" congregation—comprised of Jews, Arabs, and internationals—for a powerful time of worship. Birthed in 1991 out of a men’s rehabilitation center, the congregation is located on top of Mount Carmel, the site where the prophet Elijah repaired the altar of the Lord.
The Altar: Their sanctuary features an altar with 12 stones representing the reunified tribes of Israel, situated under a skylight symbolizing an "open heaven" for the fire of God to fall once again.
The Vision: Kehilat HaCarmel is dedicated to reaching both Jews and Arabs with the reconciling love of Yeshua, demonstrating the unity of the Kingdom.
The Jerusalem Prayer Tower (with FIRM)
In partnership with FIRM (Fellowship of Israel Related Ministries), we will visit the Jerusalem Prayer Tower. Located in the heart of the city, this center provides a strategic "watchtower" for intercession over Jerusalem and the surrounding nations.
The Mission: FIRM is a global fellowship committed to strengthening local, Gospel-centered ministries in Israel.
Our Role: We will spend time in focused prayer, looking out over the city and asking for the "Peace of Jerusalem" (Psalm 122:6) and for every person in Israel to be transformed by the love of Yeshua.
Ima’s Goodies
To serve the land in a practical and heartfelt way, we will visit Ima’s Goodies ("Ima" is Hebrew for "Mom"). This ministry is dedicated to showing love and appreciation to the young men and women serving in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
The Heart: Often referred to as "Moms to the Soldiers," this ministry provides care packages ("goodies"), warm meals, and encouragement to soldiers, many of whom are far from home.
Our Role: We will learn how a simple act of kindness and a "taste of home" can open doors to share the love of the Messiah with the next generation of Israelis.
-
This journey is physically demanding and "jam-packed" with activity. While we are visiting key ministries, you can also expect a heavy emphasis on the historical and biblical foundations of the land.
Bringing the Bible to Life
A significant portion of our time will be spent exploring archaeological sites and museums to understand the context of our faith.
The Physicality: Expect a lot of walking—sometimes on uneven terrain—as we visit the same places where Yeshua carried out His ministry and performed miracles.
The "Dead Stones": We will visit world-class sites such as Caesarea, Megiddo, and the Western Wall Tunnels. You will hear from professional guides about the history and significance of these ancient "stones".
The Spiritual Insight: This isn't just sightseeing. Throughout each day, team leaders will provide spiritual insight, group reflection, and challenges to help you grow deeper in your faith.
Engaging the "Living Stones"
The heart of this trip is connecting with the local people—the "Living Stones" of modern Israel.
Ministry Immersion: We will intentionally step away from the typical tourist path to worship with local congregations and hear directly from ministry leaders on the ground.
Active Service: Our schedule includes dedicated days for hands-on outreach, serving local ministries, and praying for the salvation of the people.
Culture & Community: You will experience the vibrancy of modern Israeli culture through its food, people, and daily life.
A Note on the Pace
This is not a leisure vacation. Every day is intentionally designed to maximize your time in the Land. You should come prepared for early mornings, full days of exploration and service, and evening group debriefs.
