Meet the people of Peru

Peru is a country rich in history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes. Home to indigenous communities, vibrant cities, and ancient Incan heritage, it is a nation where tradition meets modernity. While Catholicism is predominant, many Peruvians blend Christian beliefs with indigenous spiritual practices, and across the country, there are still many unreached people groups who have yet to hear the Gospel. The need for genuine discipleship and biblical teaching remains great. "How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?" – Romans 10:14 Beyond evangelism, there is a critical need for discipleship and church planting in remote and underserved regions of Peru. Many communities lack strong, Bible-based churches where believers can grow in faith and be equipped to disciple others. Our mission is to partner with local believers to plant and strengthen churches that will serve as Gospel-centered communities for years to come. In many regions, poverty, lack of access to education, and isolation create barriers to both physical well-being and spiritual growth. Our mission is to bring hope, encouragement, and the love of Christ to those who have never heard or fully understood the Gospel. "Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples." – Psalm 96:3

Service Opportunities

Our local ministry partners are committed to disciple-making and meeting both spiritual and physical needs in their communities. While specific ministry details may vary, opportunities may include: Reaching the Unreached – Travel to remote communities where access to the Gospel is limited, sharing Christ’s love through testimonies, evangelism, and building relationships. Church Planting & Discipleship – Help establish and support new churches in underserved areas by working alongside local pastors, leading Bible studies, and discipling new believers. Children’s Ministry – Engage with local children through Bible stories, songs, and activities. VBS-style programs and community outreach provide a foundation for faith. Evangelism & Discipleship – Encourage believers through Bible studies, one-on-one discipleship, and partnering with local churches to strengthen their outreach. Community Development & Construction Projects – Support local communities by participating in construction projects for churches, homes, or ministry centers, as well as other service initiatives such as home repairs, agricultural projects, and clean water solutions. Medical Outreach (if applicable) – If medical professionals are part of your team, there may be opportunities to provide basic healthcare, wellness education, or assist in mobile clinics. "Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." – Matthew 5:16

Living Arrangements

Living arrangements vary from trip to trip. Most teams stay in hotels, but some trips include bunkhouse accommodations, and others require teams to stay in tents in very primitive conditions. Your specific trip itinerary will provide details on what to expect. Regardless of the setting, accommodations will be safe and suitable for the team’s needs while allowing time for rest and team connection.

Transportation

Teams will fly into Lima or another major city (depending on location) and be picked up by local ministry leaders or designated drivers. All on-the-ground transportation is arranged by our ministry partner.

Meals
